So I got a new computer, one that has both a small SSD (for installing programs) and a larger HDD (for data and such).  I've been trying to install Dimension Pro to the SSD, and place the multisamples into the HHD (previously I had both on the SSD, but the multisamples took up quite a bit of space).  I uninstalled Dimension Pro because it didn't show up in the registry before, and reinstalled it (without the multisamples), hoping that I could install just the multisamples somewhere else, and select where I wanted Dimension to search using the registry (as dictated in the manual).  The problem is, under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software, there is no Dimension Pro entry (or Rapture entry, which I installed directly to the HHD because there is no option for choosing where the samples are). Is there a possibility for the registry value to have been moved or something?  How can I tell Dimension Pro where to look for the multisamples is its not in the registry?

If you have the space to temporarily locate the multisample directories on the C: drive use mklink instead of messing with the registry. Here is a post where I explain how to move the Rapture multisamples http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3059180

If you really want to mess with the registry here are all the keys http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/2673527 But mklink is safer, produces the same result and installers that do not honor the registry will work properly with the links.

Huh; reinstalling Dimension Pro with all the multisamples caused the entry to show up in the registry.  I may try the mklink anyways for Rapture, however.  Thanks :)
