Hi,

Currently i am using Reaper on my Macbook Retina 2015, as my main DAW of choice.
I am very fund of Reaper, it's an awesome DAW which is very light on cpu resources.
(on of the dozens of things in Reaper i really like)
However, lately i've been looking at Sonar and must say i'm pretty impressed.

Can't wait to try it out coming fall. (err..wait.. it's already fall ! ).
I am aware it will be in alpha stage and it will take alot of time for devs to bring it up to par with the windows version.
Only thing i would wish for right away is it's gui will be Retina ready.
Cause that's 1 major drawback in Reaper : it's gui is not build for Retina and alot of people aren't attracted to Reaper
cause of it's "blurry" and ugly looking gui.
Hope to see a message soon that Sonar alpha is out for mac and becoming a serious tester.
(i have worked with majority of all daws on mac for more than 25 years and have great knowledge about osx).

NB: is CAL still supported in Sonar windows version?
And if so, hope it will be implemented in mac version, eventually.

Warm regards.

Yep you, me and a few thousand more are looking forward to using our bought and paid for Sonar with lifetime upgrades on our Mac's. When that happens, there go's the neighborhood!  All jokes aside, hopefully it wont be too much longer Van!

Cal is still supported but hasn't been enhanced for years. It's a stagnant feature.
