MEGABOMB
Dance pop meets rock? It was hard to place this genre. Whatcha think? Production and whatever crits would be loved..... "love me like your MEGABOMB"-----> http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11251209 Stratton/Maynard

It's kinda reminding me of something like Goldfrapp meets early No Doubt. There some nice diversions in there to keep it an interesting song. No crits here on the mix at all. Nicely put together and very radio friendly. Plenty of commercial appeal here I like it.

JonB, that's a crazy coincidence, I love Goldfrapp! A boy that I had a crush on in elementary school is now a dentist in NYC and bought the whole album on itunes and forwarded it to me cuz he thought I would like it. If you haven't seen the video for "ROCKET," you've gotta see it! All that duct tape is awesome! I posted it to my facebook two summers ago and it became my theme song thru my divorce! Was that TMI? Oh well.

I listened earlier at the office on crappy speakers and things sounded good. I wanted to listen again at home on the good system but the file won't load for me at all. Edit: ok, got it to play. This sounds very good a decent system. Great song and mix.

Hey Dena, EXCELLENT tune! Very catchy song and I agree with Jon, radio friendly. Love the riffs and the tone of the guitar. Your vocal performance/pitch WOW... spot on. Very pro sounding mix on my end but I would probably add a PINCH more low end. That would bring the bass and kick out more and give the mix a touch more depth. Then again I'm the only one hearing this and maybe my home system/ears suck. One thing I'm sure is that the song/performance/mix are KILLER! Kev

Song came out good, Dena and Will. It could just be me but it seems a bit mushy on the low end. I have an ear infection so it could be that. Nice job, you guys.

Hi, Dena, Oh, yeah, that's the ticket, punchy dance rock with great vocals and guitar over a driving backbeat! Really well written and performed, and a clean, radio-ready mix to boot. It reminds me of some of the stuff the house DJs played in the after hours clubs after my metal cover band finished for the night. We'd quit at 2 or 3 in the morning and then they would lock the doors and the places would stay open to party until 5 or 6 am. Good times!!! You and Will did a killer job on this! Bob

SeriousNoise Excellent!!!!!!!!! Not my genre of music so all I can say is it sounds great to me!!! You've got it going on no doubt with this type of music. I found myself tapping my fingers with the drum beats and wanting to dance, TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS : "I DO NOT DANCE AND NEVER WILL, EVER!", I hate dancing! Although I can hear and see others going nuts in a club on this tune, this was PERFECT IMO!!! If anything I said seemed to have a bad crit that was not my intent, I'm just sayin' I enjoyed this very much but it's not my type of music that I normally listen to. AWESOME!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!! Bobby I gotcha! I'm thinkin Will truly appreciates a crit like this.

evadianepug Song came out good, Dena and Will. It could just be me but it seems a bit mushy on the low end. I have an ear infection so it could be that. Nice job, you guys. I think it might be the Sennheisers that actually boost bass so it wasn't as heavy on the laptop but it was pumped up enough on my ipod earplugs so we're "calling it."
