I bring this up because when I tried to use Melodyne in Sonar it froze up and I had to end task to get out. Is this a hostage situation?

That is for entry level upgrade. What's this? I CAN"T USE IT ANYMORE? The only thing I see is $ 499 price. Does anyone know how to actually contact Melodyne or have any info on this?

I have Editor 2.1 but apparently I have to repurchase Melodyne for full amount to use it again

Well maybe I spoke to soon. Now it froze on another project. Anyway, I have 2.1. What's the advantage of updating to 4.1 over 2.1. I no longer can sing but do like to bring in guest vocals on some projects. Since it's new do you guys think a grace period is needed for kinks to be worked out? Please help with any info in this area. Thanks in advance

Also, the issue where Melodyne was crashing Sonar, particularly when creating a Region FX appears to be resolved (at last).


I agree, at least so far. The last version was really unstable.
 
The new one works so far.

Cakewalk user since DOS3. Currently Platinum on a ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1 USB 3.1, i4790 3.6, 16 gigs memory, Windows 10 64, RME UCX using firewire.
