May be some people will stop whining about there voice is destroyed by Melodyne (as far as I could see, that was major complain from users) ;)

It was unclear as of last week whether or not... in studio... multi track editing was possible in ARA mode.   From my point of view that was a major time consumer....  is it now available in ara mode?

I have not had a chance to push it hard enough to find out where it breaks, but I was able to apply as a region effect to six tracks at once and was able to edit them all in the same window.

don't feel like a guinea pig...  it's awful early.

New functions and improvements
Multitrack Note Editing now also during ARA integration
In Melodyne studio 4.1’s Note Editor, you can now also with ARA integration display and edit as many DAW tracks simultaneously as you like.
ARA improvements for (vocal) comping in the DAW
Thanks to two new ARA modes, Melodyne’s power can be optimally focused on an individual clip or an entire track, thereby providing ideal support for typical DAW workflows such as (vocal) comping: ARA Clip Mode affords access to a single clip but also to notes on either side of the clip borders. ARA Track Mode, on the other hand, shows you all the clips on a DAW track, exactly as they are edited and arranged there.
New playback type for monophonic instruments
To enhance sound quality during the playback of soprano voices or very high-pitched melodic instruments (e.g. piccolos), the Algorithm Inspector now includes a new playback type: “Tonal (high)”.
The “Separate Notes as Trill” command
The Note Editor and Note Assignment Mode now feature Melodyne studio 3’s familiar “Separate Notes as Trill” command.
The “Replace Audio” command
The “Replace Audio” command allows you to save an audio file under its existing name without having to open the Export dialog.
Better keyboard shortcuts
Every sub-tool now has its own independent shortcut. A shortcut has also been added for the Time Grid, and Zoom commands assigned to the numerical keypad.
Contrast variations for the user interface
In the Preferences dialog, several new contrast options are available for the user interface.
HiDPI support under Windows
On suitable systems running Windows 8 or later, Melodyne now supports the high resolution screen. This applies to both the stand-alone implementation and the plug-in in Studio One. HiDPI support for further DAWs is planned.
Reduced memory requirements
Thanks to internal optimization, the memory requirements under Windows in particular of Melodyne 4.1 (stand-alone, plug-ins and ARA) have been reduced.
Auto Scroll options
When running Melodyne as a plug-in, you can now save separate Auto Scroll settings for each instance.
iLok
In addition to the iLok 2, Melodyne 4.1 now supports the new iLok 3.
macOS Sierra
Naturally, Melodyne 4.1 is also compatible with Apple’s latest operating system.
Bug fixes

• Fixed: under Windows 7, certain MP3 files when loaded causing Melodyne stand-alone to crash
• Fixed: in Cubase, the setting “Always on Top” for the plug-in window sometimes leading to a crash
• Fixed: various graphics problems in the plug-in
• Fixed: entered or detected tonalities reset to C Major when saving
• Fixed: MAR files from Melodyne studio 3 imported by Melodyne 4 with incorrect tempo information
• Fixed: sundry other problems affecting the import of studio 3 files
• Fixed: shift by a few samples of audio material after a later change of algorithm
• Fixed: occasional misalignment of the Time Grid after tempo learning in the DAW
• Fixed: unreliable transfer to the Melodyne plug-in of information regarding changes of time signature in Cubase’s Learn Tempo dialog

At last! Sonar now seems stable when I use Melodyne. Well I'll give it a month of use or so before saying that it seems 100% stable but at least it is no longer unusable.

...unlike Neutron...or Windows 10 with the latest updates ... but that's another story

SONAR 2016.09 Update lists as being Ready for Melodyne 4.1 in preparation for a then to be released Melodyne 4.1

Now Melodyne 4.1 has been released, you can be rest assured that if you perform this Melodyne update to 4.1, and have instaklled the  SONAR 2016.09 Update, Sonar will be ready for Melodyne 4.1.

To do the update to Melodyne 4.1, simply log on to your Celemony account at www.celemony.com and perform a download of what ever version of Melodyne you have registered.

just be realistic for 1 minute.
Melodyne 4.1 just came out...1000,s of people downloading it at the same time (not just Sonar users either).
That's just how the interwebs works man. not lame at all. its reality.
 

I work for a consulting firm that optimizes networks for companies.  The burden is on a software company to have scale-ability in their network to account for a product release.  I'm not going to agree with you on this one.  
 
Again this is a software company we are talking about that should have knowledge of such things as it is the only way they have distribution of their product.  
 
 
(and at $700 for a single personal use license, it isn't exactly cheap software either).

Try logging in first.  I got the same 'busy' message as you when I went to the link, but after logging in I was able to download it.

The only minor issue I've seen so far with 4.1 Studio is that when creating a Region FX the display (the blobs of notes) is no longer in view in the Multidock area (at the top of the screen in my case). I now have to scroll around to find the stream of notes - that never happened previously with 4.0.

Same here, but at least I still haven't had any crashes with the new version. 

I had a chance to try it out today and found it a real joy to have a Lead vox and two harmony parts all loaded up at once. It really is nice to see what's what as you work and so easy to tighten up timing as well.
 
I will say at first there was an oddity in that I was correcting a part which I could hear change as I moved the blob, but it was playing back without the change. This only happened once and I can't say I figured out what was going on. after that I had no more issues.
I also discovered that when I wanted to change which track I was editing I could double click a gray blob and it became active and colored. Very nice so far!

Still crashes for me if opening more than one Region FX area.

I upgraded long ago to Melodyne 'assistant.'  While the 4.0 upgrade caused a lot of heartburn, one function i use often is opening multiple vocal tracks within SONAR and editing them -- very useful for aligning timing in particular. 
 
That function no longer works for me in 4.1.  Celemony tells me it only works in Studio edition, so they essentially de-featured 'assistant.'  Unless anyone knows of a workaround, be warned.  Trying to roll back causes huge problems for me now, so I feel trapped into upgrading.

It tells me I can update for $99 when I open it in Sonar and takes me to the site.
