Couldn't have said it any better! How I am going to be able to buy it may be the most important thing right now. I am pretty jazzed by the Thunderbird bass. If it's a good one resisting may be tuff. Well it really sounds very good. $149 is too much for me, though. There is no hot button to press for me with bass samplers. My K10U makes it a tuff sale.

A very good upright bass is OT Samples CoreBass. I got it on the GB, but the normal pricing is still reasonable.

Correct, this is all electric bass physical modeling. Edit - Just to note that while Gear Credits cannot be used per my post above, JamPoints can indeed be used to reduce even the intro/pre-order pricing by up to 30%.
