Mrs. Beagle in a car accident this morning

We just got home from the ER.  She's OK, just stiff and sore, or well, she was, right now she's drugged up and sleeping!

She drives a little Kia Rio and it's probably totalled.  the SUV which hit her spun her around and caved in the rear passenger side of her car.  almost no damage to the SUV.  The woman driving the SUV ran a stop sign at a 4 way stop where my wife was almost all the way thru the intersection before this woman pulled out and plowed into her.

I'll post a pic of my wife's car later.  I have to meet the tow truck in about an hour and I'll get pics then.

thank God she's not hurt too bad, but I'm worried about her neck since I'm sure any more damage to her neck could be disastrous.  She doesn't need any MORE damage!  They did a CAT scan and said she didn't have any new damage, I just pray that's really the case!

    Thank God shes Okay.

It takes days (if not longer) for some things to show their bad sides though.

    Take care Reece

OH NO... I am glad she is OK enough to be home. Perhaps getting knocked around will end up making her neck better rather than worse. Stranger things have happened.

Wow. Glad to hear she sounds OK.

I'm glad Mrs. Beagle is relatively OK.  I hope nothing more serious is found.

Julien, that's exactly what I told her!  I told her she needed a little more metal around her to protect her from all of the other vehicles with much more mass than hers!

Thanks Ed!  I agree completely!  the car is just "stuff" and doesn't matter at all.  I will be staying home with her today to take care of her.

    Thanks Drew!

Sheesh Reece! Can that gal catch a break? She's pretty lucky considering what could have been. Take my advice and lawyer up today. Get them a copy of the police report and let them handle it for you. Won't cost you a thing.

Jan, Marius, Karl, thanks guys.  I appreciate the thoughts!

Randy - I know man, I feel so bad for her she just can't seem to get a break!  her sister was in an accident just about a month or so ago and ended up having to get a lawyer because the other insurance company wasn't being cooperative.  dang what a hassle!

Thanks Michael, Steve, & Craig!  I appreciate your thoughts!

Jules - she just had a procedure for her neck pain where they shot steroids in her neck because of cracked and misaligned disks causing her pain - I'm just afraid this accident may make things worse - that's why I want the pain doc to see the CAT scans the ER made today.

thanks so much zungle!  I appreciate you!

thanks Johannes - I think she'll be OK.  we'll see!

thanks Shad and myolpal!  I appreciate it!

Yikes! Nasty one Reece, I'm really glad she's OK.

I don't know why we're eerily linked to have bad luck at the same time..you lost your dog, we lost our old pony, now your missus gets in a crash and my daughter's in hospital after a riding accident...what did we do??
