My Atkins Diet update....
It's not working. Do you think it has to do with the fact that I only eat one Atkins meal a day*? Throw the discuss if you'd like. *The other five meals a day are free form bacchanals.

Have you checked to see if someone else is stepping on the scale when you're not looking? If not, then I had nothing to do with it.

My impression was that all diets were based on turning the words "eat less calories than you use" into some kind of for-profit book/program/special-meals thingy.

Atkins sells food stuffs. However, once you understand the basic concepts you really don't need them. I imagine that is true of Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and that Witch Esmeralda's Eye of Newt Soup.

This one is the choice of champions. Set your target with your doc get the book read it and just do it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dukan_Diet It ain't a diet it's a lifestyle, so you don't just pile it on again, and if you do start falling foul it's easy just to get back on track. I've got the pictures for proof.

The Eye of Newt Soup was proven to be a scam. It's really made by Witch Griselda. The name was changed for marketing purposes.

Nine years ago I went from 250 to 210 on Atkins. Took seven months. Kept it off for nearly three years. Then I rediscovered pizza, popcorn and candy. Today I'm 235. I'd like to be 210 again. Gonna look at JB's recommendation.

I've done the Atkins diet a few times.Basically its a high protien low carb diet. Most diets only work for a few weeks. When ever you make any change in your eating habits it will cause your metabolism to speed up,it takes 3 weeks for your body and metabolism to adjust and catch up with the change in your diet.If you do the Atkins diet the right way,it adjusts and changes as you go to help keep your metabolism going.

,I've done the Atkins diet 3 times Hmmm. I think diet success would be measured by how few times you needed it. I've only ever dieted once. I don't intend to have the need do it again, hence my recommendation.

I just received another note from HR saying that they would appreciate it if I stopped changing project team member's names to Cheeseburger, Becan, and Chili. They said the look I'm giving them is creeping them out. They would also appreciate it if I would stop following them around telling them I'll see them again at lunchtime. I'm so very hungry right now. Chili's trying to make a run for the parking lot. I think I can take him out from this window...

As I understand it, becan is allowed under Atkins' plan. So are becan cheeseburgers. You just can't have the bun. Which tends to lead to ketchup running down your arm.
