Not my usual cup of tea, but I am on my 2nd listen. First impression is, nice and clean mix. Sounds great on the speakers (JBL LSR4326), no subs though. The low end is rich and without mud. There's an audio artifact @ 2:50 (a seem)? I can confirm to you that your efforts have paid off handsomely. Very good production over all. Bravo!

Alegria

thank you for the stop and listen and critique..

Artifact?? a seam???? I can only be accused of looping things several thousand times....so I do not dought your ears.... I will have to go back and listen again for this.......Thank you  for bringing it to my attention.....

I really did work very hard on this and all in all I feel it is my best production to date....

It is also good to know what you are listening on for monitors cause I only have my main monitors and then some Yamaha MP5's and then it is my Pick up truck.....

Thank you very much
I will go back and try and find that seam and patch that puppy!

Darn Cliff!!...I really like this one!

Your vox and that 12 string sealed it for me.

I don't know what genre this would fall into as there are a lot of styles goin' on in this, but, I kinda pick-up on a modern-western vibe.

You set the groove with that geetar and built around it sooo nice...

As JC mentioned, mix is very clean and easy on the ears!

Well, on a personal note..I'm glad to see you back in these parts and more importantly, making music.

FWIW..2010 has not been that kind to us either and learning to roll with the punches is always challenging. Better to be a tough'old' bird than a plucked one, sitting in someone's cooking pot!!

Anyways, you put a lot of time and effort into this..and it sure shows man!! Excellent!

Larry

ps: Wish you posted the lyrics....

I went looking for that artifact......I listened on my music system....then in my Pick up truck and then on my MP3 Player........I am missing it......but I want to fix it......I am going to open the project up tonight and go looking for any kind of loose end that may be hanging out there.....

Thank you again for bringing this to my attention.....I just would like you to know I want to find and fix it.....

Absoflippinlutely cool number.  It reminds me of some of the country pop stuff that came out in the early to mid- '60 (e.g., Jack Scott's stuff and the song Phantom 409).  However, this one is on steroids!  Great lyrics and the mix sounds perfect to me.
