My Latest Noize
Sorry I haven't been here for a while. This is a tune that I think a couple of people are working on different versions on, I dunno but I'm not going to rush anyone. It has no words, no lead, but I thought it sounded note worthy, and I thought I would let you hear it as it is for now before anything else is added. Thanks to James for advice on the drums, I thought these turned out rather nice compared to some of my other smash and dash drums I've added. I really like them honestly. I'm working on finishing my own version of this one, but I really hope the others I have requested add to it and do something with it. Any thoughts or input will be appreciated and thanks in advance. This is a "WORK STILL IN PROGRESS TUNE", and this is what I started out with. I hope ya like it, if not. That's cool Thanks for taking the time. It's called "Tell Me Why", it's at the top of the list on this link : Tell Me Why

What!! You mean one from you that's not fully produced? This sounds more complete than most you've posted, pretty good too. No timing anomalies, it moves around nicely, great guitar tone, I like the drums, I think this is best I've heard from you Bobby. And at 4:51, it's not 7 minutes long! Bravo!

And there is someone who might add some music to this, LOL, we shall see though. I have several idea's for lead guitar on this, but I would rather offer someone something like this as is to not let them be constrained by their thoughts or idea's. Well, Uh, That and not to mention the fact that it's a heck of a lot easier to follow somebody's lead vocals with lead guitar. I hope something good comes out of this tune. We shall see. Thanks for taking the time.

I'm J/Kng. A lot of what you said helped me tremendously, and you may not even realize it. Certain things like the room sound of the drums really need to match the room sound of the guitar/bass and such. You never really said it in those words, but I got that much out of your information. Thanks for your help on the drums on this, I saved that preset for this set and hope to tweak it a bit more here and there. Thanks James!

But I like it! All I can say is that I've heard you play and some of your music, and you are far more advanced and better than I am, so I am chalking that comment on the WOW board and thanks right now! Thank you for taking the time, I hope there are three versions of this tune, I have asked one vocalist, and another person who plays music, and then there might be my version. We shall see. It will be fun either way. Thanks

BIABDude powerful performance and sound + + + 1 Thanks for taking the time to listen, and I appreciate the kind comments. This isn't my best, perhaps in the future I can afford melodyne or something like that and start adding vox. I've tried a few demo's, but the demo's for my weak setup just don't help at all on the vocal side of things. Whatever the case it was fun, and thank you for taking the time to listen and reply. I recorded this using : Music Creator 5 Toneport Kb37 Pod Farm 1 using some tweaked settings - Recording a real Guitar and a Real Bass. And I am not a bass player but I try. Session Drummer 2 - With some awesome advice on the sound from the user NightriderXL - Radio/James. I actually recorded this originally with 2 guitars panned L/R but they were pretty much playing melody over the entire tune, so I scaled it down to a few more takes and 2 guitars with what you hear now. I did add the 3rd guitar which i had planned all along to add the carry sound every now and then. It's not perfect, and I"m still working on it, I don't know what more I can do that I would like to without vocals. I guess I'm going to have to give it a shot, I asked one person about it and never heard nothing on the vox. That's cool, I know everybody is busy. As for the music idea I mentioned I don't care if that takes a year, I know that would be amazing by the person I asked about that. I'm not mentioning anyone because I don't want to put them on the spot. And I don't mean what I said as any type of calling out or nothing like that. I'm just saying, I guess it's time I give it another try adding my vox to the tune, only this time take as much care as I did recording instead of just throwing a 1-2 take out there like I have always done. Practice........ Whatever the case this was fun! Thanks!

The guitar sounds tight and driving as always. I've heard you play other styles well but you absolutley nail these rock rythyms and I agree with above that this is gonna be killer with additions.

Thanks Mark, I'm going to let a couple of people have a bit of time with this one and see what happens, I might try and do my own version on vox, I dunno yet. I haven't heard from Josh in a long time. I wrestled with the idea of using AOL mail, GMAIL, and others, I finally settled on hotmail once again, so he probably doesn't even know my email. He's got an awesome voice and some mad skillz I know that, if he wants to work on anything I do he's always welcomed to give it a shot. I switched back to Windows Live mail because they've removed the live spaces web page junk and added a 5 GB windows live Mesh feature which is similar to drop box. I thought if someone wants to collab in the future it might be a nice feature to have. Thanks again for listening and taking the time to reply.

Ofcourse I'm joking here, I guess I need to make a declaration every time that I do so. BTW: Did you ever do anything with "A Classic Story"? Just wondering, if you didn't that's cool. I have lost a lot of master tracks, I still have the mixdowns though. At least I have everything organized on the master track side of things now. Thanks for taking the time to listen and reply, I appreciate it! Good to hear from you! Thanks again.

It's very hard to tell, I know sometimes where the bridge/verse/chorus is in a song without having words or a lead added to it. I might give it a try on vox, I dunno. Thanks again
