Norrie I didn't read all the posts.. but security would be a concern of mine. Just me maybe but...I would have made the place secure before much of anything else. 1. Security 2. Power- power protection 3. Utilities- all plumbing, heat/air, lighting issues. phones/commincation/entertainment Then design.

I didnt feel the need to mention it in a post I just thought everyone would have thought that would have been straight forward and taken care of. That was all taken care of as the first thing to be done before I moved any gear in. New alarm System straight to the police 2 mortice locks and dead bolts on the main door followed by another 2 deadbolts on the rooms for added security :) Air con is up and the building has passed all electric fire safety check so everything is up to code :) New toilets and washing area was put in last week so still the odd bit to do on that side but all in all not a big job :) Norrie

Hey Norrie, you never said what happened to the previous occupants. From their website they looked to have a pretty nice setup. Did they go bust or just move on? EDIT: Ignore this Norrie, just got your PM!!

Karyn Hey Norrie, you never said what happened to the previous occupants. From their website they looked to have a pretty nice setup. Did they go bust or just move on? Hi there Karyn ! Ive Just sent you a pm just before you posted this haha Short version of the pm is they ran the place in to the ground takeing money from bands and not keeping on top of the day to day running and maintanance of the place in the end people stoped going because it was falling to bits. The recording side they were recording bands takeing there money and not finishing there mixes ( so I am told ) I sent you more detail in the Pm though :) Norrie

Nowhere in it did I suggest or mention anything about what you have done, doing, or may do. I made no assumptions. Good luck with your project Norrie.
