Robbie, very nicely done on the remix, except at my end the bass is pretty over baring as compared to the vocals. I think if you bring the bass down 1 or 2 db his vocals will stand out more. I know your a bass player and love that bass sound, but it seem just a tad loud in the overall song. Just my opinion. Everything else sounds great and you did a nice job working on your sons vocals, bringing them up in the mix. You have a special boy there and I would keep encouraging him with music. Nice song together and a fun project. Peace and Blessings, John

:-) You need to listen to the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO_WxYC34eM And I posted another remix.... His vox have a bit more treble, and the bass has a bit less bottom.

Robby,
I'm sat here with goosebumps all over listening to this. I know what you and your son have gone through over the years and to hear you both working together is really something special indeed. I bet this made you so very proud and I'm hoping this could be the start of a very wonderful collaboration.
You say this isn't your best, well I have to disagree with you my friend. I enjoyed everything about this and I thank you very much for sharing.
Hopefully I won't have to wait long for another song from Robby and son.
Mark.

Thanks Mark, I'm trying to get him hooked on it :-) I showed him the chords too, he has a short scale strat that I got him when he was just little. He doesn't really play it but he did get the progression down :-D Am/C/G/D The mechanics of this are easy, what is tricky are the nuances and the passion... And you can't teach that. Wow, that was actually profound?

Hey!!! VERY cool cover, "Rockin' Robby and Son"! The kid is a chip off the old block! Seriously, great job by both of you, and I'll bet you both had a real blast recording this together! He's a super singer like his Dad, really nice work, guys! Bob

Robby!!! Your son has gotten older since I was here last. God bless you Bro!!! Love your music. The Missing Person project was one of the most fun things I was ever involved in. Lol. It's still one of my best songs, well 1/2 a song. :-) It's gonna take a while for me to catch up. I haven't been here for at least 2 years. But I started writing and recording again!!!! So cool to see you're still here. Don

cryophonik Not at all what I was expecting, but very cool! I can't wait until my son is old enough (and interested enough) to collaborate with his old man! Catchy track, nicely done.
Cryo, if he's young only push very gently :-) I've been afraid that if I pushed, he would push back the other way. So I've always played instruments in front of him, and played my projects for him, and now he's starting to get in to it. It's a process.

James, thanks. It's a popular tune on this side of the pond :-) He's a good boy, I hope he picks up an interest in it.
