Sounding much better James. There are still a few timing issues, but once you get more practice in i'm sure you will get back to your best. Some vocals would really take this to another level.

Guitars sound pretty good. The drums are not bad, not sure if this is the MIDI controller you were talking about a while ago or real drums. I have a Simmons drum controller and I've given up trying to get a natural sounding performance out of it, so much editing to do afterwards, it is not much more effort to just go ahead and score it in piano view. I guess what I'm trying to say is James, if that's who you really are ;) , not sure how good your MIDI controller is, but if it's anything like mine, you could get a more natural performance captured by just using the sticks to beat on any old thing mic it and use a drum replacement program or convert it to midi in Sonar then put your drum program on. Decent performance here, but if you find you are not getting the results that you played. No amount of practice in the world is going to make up for it. After talking with Danny a while ago about it, I have the impression you really need to spend a lot of coin to get a good drum controller, more than what a standard set would cost.

Thanks John , just got back from spending my afternoon in the hospital . Been having alot of numbness issues in my face ,neck , I was worried I might be having some sort of a TIA ( Mini Stroke ) . Last week my exwife said the right side of my lip was drooping slightly , with that and this numbness I decided I better go to the hospital and have some test done . They did a CT scan on my head , EKG on my heart again , blood work and scanned my throat & neck artries for blockages leading to my brain . Lucky for me everything looked ok , not sure whats causing the numbness could be a pinch nerve in my lower back . Always something but atleased I know now I'm not in any danger of having a stroke so in a way it was worth having all those test done on me today . Yea its not perfect by any means , I didn't expect to get back in shape over night . Its going to take a good year to really get back in shape , losing some weight will help too because right now I weight too much . Thanks - James

Thanks , I was playing a electronic Yamaha drum set a cheap inexpensive model . Its more of a practice kit for basic drumming but hey for $500.00 its not all that bad . I'm sure if it was a $1,000.00 kit it would sound better , this kit has some issues when hitting the crash cymbals . Sometimes the sound goes almost dead , could be the triggers in the pads for this entry level kit . What can I say it is what it is , maybe someday I will be able to afford a more expensive electronic kit . Thanks for the listen - James

THE NIGHT FOX BIG MISTAKE, Bobby is playing in time !!! Today I played only the main drum pattern to his rock song using a CLICK Heres is that drum pattern in 4/4 time , SAMPLE B http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12278542&q=hi&newref=1 After that I started messing around with his music and the drum pattern and started thing I wonder if he recorded his guitar playing at 120BPM . I was playing at 110BPM on all recording , so I change the 110BPM to 120BPM and tried playing my drum pattern with his music and guess what it sounds perfect BOBBY IS PLAYING IN TIME ! All this fuss about whos off time , the problem was the BPM wasn't set to 120BPM . Bobby you never told me you recorded your song set at 120BPM , oh well heres what SAMPLE A sounds like after I added my drums to his music set at 120 BPM . http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12278540&q=hi&newref=1 SORRY BOBBY , It was an honest mistake I should had ask you before what the BPM was when you recorded your guitar music . Yeah I'm sorry too James, I was a bit harsh with my replies, I apologize. This was never meant to be a song anyway, it still needs a lot of work, Words/Vocals/Lead mistakes I made need to be fixed and other things. Either way, it was fun and hopefully a step forward so it's all good. It was an improvisation track on your part and mine so it was never meant to be perfect, LOL we get a big FAIL for not mentioning that in the first place. The best thing we both can do is learn from this and not take things as a personal insult, I know in the past I've taken things far too personal when I shouldn't have, if someone offers criticism on here it's not to make you look bad, it's to make you sound better and help you. As I have hopefully grown with my music in the last couple years I finally realize that. Just be thankful that someone takes the time to listen and reply. Edited to mention, sorry James, I should have mentioned it was 120BPMS, My bad, I forget to mention that sometimes because I haven't collaborated a lot.
