Learning how to set it up and make the hardware and software work together is an important part of the learning curve. Having someone do it for you might help you get started, but then what happens when you have a problem? It would be better to bite the bullet and take the time to learn it so that you can work independently in the future. That's my suggestion, for what its worth. Have you read the Getting Started Guide and looked through the Help Menu? You can learn a lot from those. Also there is the
Desktop Music Handbook from Cakewalk that is also a good resource. Then there's the "Sonar Power" book from Scott Garrigus. One problem you are going to have is that Sonar 7 is several years old now and there aren't that many people still using it.
