That's what the FabFilter fan boys have been begging for. It's not as if the world needs another reverb, but they'd still sell a bunch of them, I think. There's a kind of "collect 'em all" mentality when it comes to FabFilter. (Yeh, I admit to being one of them.)

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Hey, good day,
Wonder if you`d provide a little feedback, as you seem to be a fan.
I just quickly, over-viewed FabFilter site, as I saw them referenced on another Forum, I wasn't familiar with them, their plugins look quite impressive, (possibly priced accordingly), especially in Canadian dollars.
They appear to be in a whole higher/different class than say Izotope and Waves products, would you say so?
Do they work well with Sonar and how CPU intensive are they, particularly if using on multiple tracks/buses?

As Zo said, yes they are top notch without a doubt.

Also good to be aware that the more of them you
buy the cheaper the others become buying from
their website.  The discount is gradient depending
on what you own.

K thanks all, all good to know, and possibly not to start with a bundle, I guess at this level, the cost of Sonar itself is somewhat trivial, particularly with having lifetime updates.

The demo video sounds a bit "reverby", but who knows?  Personally, I'm with bitflipper.  Of all the things I'd like to see from them (not that there's much territory they haven't already got covered), low on that list is a reverb.  I've already got my go-to plug-ins for both convolution (Reverberate 2) and algo (Aether, plus the one that comes with Cubase, plug the Valhalla plate).  But like bitflipper, I also confess to being a FabFilter collector.  I lack only the de-esser, since I don't work with vocal production.

Wonder if you`d provide a little feedback, as you seem to be a fan.

It's definitely "high end" stuff. Technical quality is very good. User interfaces are famously ergonomic. Most products have advanced modulation features nobody else has.

However, that's not to say that every FF product is necessarily best-in-class or best value. Sometimes, there are less-expensive alternatives that are just as good. For example, Meldaproduction's MDynamicEQ is better than FabFilter Pro-MB for a much lower price. This new reverb, if that's what it is, will have to compete with the likes of ValhallaDSP. It'll be 4 or 5 times as much, but can't possibly be 4-5x better.

FF has an unusual customer loyalty program. The more products you buy, the cheaper the next one will be. Like I said, there's a "collect 'em all" mentality among FF users. Furthermore, if you let an existing FF customer refer you for your first FF purchase, you get a 10% discount the the person who referred you gets a modest store credit.

See what you mean, been checking out demo software and tutorials, quite nice stuff all around, a lot to like, cant wait to see what deals they may have for BF sales, if anyone wants to refer me, so we both get a deal of some kind would be great.
What I dont like is Im going to have re-mix all my music, LOL. (and perhaps all the money I've wasted on other plugins).
Gotta get back to play,
Cheers

FYI, you cannot combine discounts. Usually the BF sales are a better deal than then first time buyers discount.

Steve's right: when they do have a sale (it's not a frequent occurrence but they do happen, usually at Christmas if not on Black Friday) the sale price will be better (30-50% off) than the 10% referral discount. Sometimes, sale prices apply to bundles only. They really want you to collect 'em all.

Watch master salesman Dan Worrall's tutorials on Pro-Q. At your own risk.
