Would someone be so kind to share the 64 bit version of the 3.6.7.4 driver?

the only older driver I could find on the motu website was 3.6.7.3.

thanks.

The ASIO buffer only goes down to 192,

I believe the buffer settings reflect what your PC can handle cause i still have 64 available on one machine but only 128 on my other machine.(At all sample rates)

MOTU said they had to add latency cause of hardware dsp calls for new features.

Latency is still my biggest issue with the MOTU interfaces. They perform pretty poorly at low buffer settings. Im thinking of switching to a RME PCIe card in the near future.

The new drivers have hardware calls to the MKIII dsp hardware which double the latency whether your unit has the hardware or not. For pre MKIII units it is probably best to use the 3.6.7.x driver.

Duh, This is why i need to start reading the whole thread before i post!

Also, I have about 6-7 of old legacy FW/USB Motu Drivers, If anyone wants them or a list of witch ones I have PM me.

I don't think so. In fact im sure that you pc does not determine if you can go down to 64 or 128. you just have different drivers installed on each pc or its the sample rates

Nope, Im positive, version 3.6.8.1400 on both machines at all sample rates, but like I said the vista machine only goes to 128

ORIGINAL: TheSteven

Where can I find a copy of the old 3.6.7.4 driver?
I can't find my backup disk and its no longer on my harddrive.

I checked the website and it only seems to have the latest version...

If its no longer available, could some kind soul share a copy?

Thanks,

...Steven

I found the 3.6.7.4 drivers here: http://driversdb.com/device.php?id=113378

it is a redirect TO motu, so you'll need to log in at some point.

here's the link to the 3.6.7.0

http://www.dontcrack.com/freeware/downloads.php/id/136/software/MOTU-Firewire-USB-Driver/#

Funny, they have them on their site but will not give you the link. Will only offer the newest drivers. I found these only by hours of searching the net and seredipidously hearing a radio news item about a website that archives old web pages.

Motu would NOT give me the link when I talked to them on the phone.

Motu support sucks

Motunation is your friend
