Better is purely subjective.

I'm just pointing out that there is no need to do the all scrolling you're currently doing.

Also, any more than 3 plugins in the Fx bin and you need to scroll the entire bin to see the lower ones, so it's not a complete panacea.

Remember that every VST can be used in the pro channel as FX chains..... A very powerful feature!

Pro channel tuner is a great and practical idea!
Would also love to see a SPL style transient designer, and a Fatso!!!!!!

I do most fx adjustments in the track view to be honest, where I can pretty much see however many I want. I just don't understand why people want well working, large GUI plugs in the cramped PC format which is already getting pretty crowded for those of us who have more than just the stock bundle. You do bring up a great point though; I'm really hoping for a console view overhaul where I can see more sends and inserts. I usually float it to a second monitor and it's plenty high to add more stuff. There's a lot of wasted/blank space there currently.

I agree that managing multiple PC modules when they are all open does involve a lot of scrolling, that's why I always minimise each & every one when I finish an editing session.
I believe their state is also saved as part of a screenset, so provided you've minimised them in an unlocked screenset and then lock the screenset, they will always appear minimised when you switch back to it.

I hear you. It just seems almost pointless to me to use the PC at all if you keep them minimized. But we all have our own preferred workflows. Didn't mean to be Buzz Killington. Carry on.

Yes, I think that if there were many more PC modules added, a better way to browse them would have to be implemented. Maybe a dedicated PC section in the Browser window.

An amp sim that has the Flyout capabilities of the EQ.

good idea, maybe group them based on purpose (compressors, EQ, distortion, EQ) ... sort of like it's done now with VST3

well, that's my view of the world ...

rather than asking for new modules I'd appreciate if the bugs with FX chains used as PC modules would be fixed - especially when adjustments via control surfaces are involved ...

I've run into many small issues when trying to use FX chains as PC modules (like knobs not mapping to the right rotary, etc) ... no total show-stoppers, but things I don't want to bother with or explain when mixing with people looking over my shoulder ... so I stopped using FX chains in that respect

Bottomline: I got plenty of goodies to insert, but I wish I could just throw them into the PC rather than the FX bin (of course, that doesn't make Cake any extra money as opposed to releasing new PC modules)

I haven't used PC FX chains a lot, so I'm not aware of those bugs. But of course they sould be fixed to make the feature "perfect"

The PC tuner module is a very good idea, and it's a module I would spend mony on. (please, Cakewalk)
