New ProChannel Modules
Dear Cakewalk, If you want my money in between Sonar upgrades, new PC modules are the way to go. You release them and I will buy. I don't even care what they do. I can't help myself. Thank you for the consideration.

I hate de essers. They just sound bad. The best way is to just go through the vocal clips and lower the volume of all the syllabants. Then you don't have to worry about the life being sucked out of a vocal track.

Another limiter, chorus, delay, phaser and buss comp. A tuner, auto gain, de esser, pultec curve eq. Hell, be ambitious and work with overload to give us a TH2 module.

The main reason I even go out side the PC anymore is to access my Waves Renaissance and Waves CLA compressors stuff. Make a deal with Waves to put them into the PC! That would be nice. I also like the idea someone said earlier about turning the Nomad Blue Tubes bundle into PC stuff. The tuner would be nice. A world-class delay/chorus would be pretty sweet, too.

How about a tone generator, i bought a video from groove 3 "how to record vocals" and the guy used a tone generator to set up the levels he was using Pro tools. In another video the guy used a tone generator to calibrate and show how to calibrate studio monitors i think it was on a presonus Daw so why doesn't Sonar include something like that.
Is a good idea for a PC or effects bin module

+1 (or +1 * 2) Right now I have a dedicated track with a tuner on it. Tried to do it on a Bus once but as I recall there seemed to be some issue although that was during the X2a phase. But yes in the end a tuner would be nice, particularly the Peterson tuner as a PC module...sweet! Regards,

Yes, I think that if there were many more PC modules added, a better way to browse them would have to be implemented. Maybe a dedicated PC section in the Browser window. An amp sim that has the Flyout capabilities of the EQ.

I just want a simple mono echo. I don't want all the ping pong, everything but the kitchen sink, read the manual, kind of delay. An on/off button and just three knobs - feedback, delay, and mix. Pro Channel it please. I just wanted my old Roland SDE 1000 or my old Echoplex.

The Overloud VFX delay module is a great simple delay module for PC. At $20 it's a great price.
Didn't they give that away for free at one time?

Lots of good ideas. I particularly like the idea of a tone generator like in a few old mix boards. great for tracking down probs. Useful for other tricks as well if selectable 1k tone, white/pink noise with user pretermined pulse times like a variable gate for non synth purposes.

Not an actual new ProChannel Module idea but an enhancement idea for ProChannel.
IMO, the ability to save presets for individual ProChannel modules (within the modules) would be a great plus!

+1 on this one. I put in a feature request back along for this. This is the one real drawback to PC for me and keeps me using the FX bin. And a way to globally compact all the PC modules in a strip. Scrolling up and down the modules is tedious and cumbersome.

+1 for the tuner. I hardwired an outboard tuner to one of my interface's headphone outputs so that anything that goes through the mains also goes to the tuner. It works fantastic, but I'd like to have that space free on my rack if possible. (Doesn't Mixcraft or Tracktion have a tuner built into every channel? )
Bandlab Platinum and every other toy I can get my hands on...and yes I'm way in debt over this obsession...

How is this better than simply having an fx bin with plugins you open and close?
