Okay, I've been skeptical, not to mention sceptical, all along of what I supposed was a vanity project. but you've convinced me with this one. Terrific lyrics, deadpan delivery, downright scary performances. literally. my girlfriend walked into the room and said, "honey, you're scaring me!"  And VERY sneaky the way you slipped Asparapuss in there.  So I'm a new fan. This is High Art at its very finest.
Mark

Thanks Mark

I can understand why you might of thought of the CHB as being a vanity project but, and I can only speak for myself here, the guys I'm lucky enough to be collaborating with are, in my opinion, some of the finest musicians that frequent these forums.

Yes, we like a laugh and a joke - that's how we happened to get together as an internet collaboration band in the Coffee House forum.  The lyrics may be tongue-in-cheek but they are extremely well thought out and we take the music, indeed the whole process, very seriously - and I think that comes across.

Most importantly, we're all making music and having a ball doing it - what more could you ask for!

If you scan the 'big' forum, it's full of gob-sh1tes that haven't got a single note for anyone to listen to, but they're full of advice and derision for the lesser mortals who don't happen to know the most intricate details of SONAR.

In any case, there's more to come!

Thanks again for your kind words mate

Was ever a band so mis-named? Coffee House Band? I was expecting folksy/bluesy acoustic stuff....

This is fine work from all involved, love the song, love the guitar work, love the drums, love the vibe! Well done to all!

But seriously - consider renaming yourselves the "Big-House Band"

FingerBone's Music

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

WAY outta my usual listening (I nearly shut it off when I saw "metal") but when vocals started, couldn't quit!  Killer drums and guitars!

You might want to go back and tighten up the phrasing, there are more than a few places where the vocal doesn't hit quite with the drum, and it's such a tight rythym that it's a bit odd when the sylables don't sync.

Can't say I'd listen to an entire show, but did enjoy the song.

@FingerBoneBill - thanks for the listen. BTW our other choices for the band name were The Fluffy Ones and The Cuddly Buns.

@Tap - thanks for taking a peek at our song. The Big House?  Do they serve bacon there? We're all about the bacon.

@Greek2Me - glad you enjoyed it. Keep listening, You may well be surprised at the things to come especially if you continue to keep an open mind like you did for this one.

@everyone - we really appreciate your comments and the fact that you've taken the time to listen to our songs.

Given that The CHB may or may not be releasing a new song soon you might want to take a new or re-listen to our last effort(s).

Go back to the OP and click on our Sounclick page (in The Coffee House Band signature) or just click on Bing The Beciless in my signature.
