Well, I don't think you'd have to really tie me to a chair. Having them on auto-play would be nice, but I imagine I can keep pressing play too. :-)

I've got to get back here more often. This has really nice movement to it Mark. Real clean notes, and all pretty much in the right place. Just the right amount of this and that. This reminds of Bad Idea for some reason. Not a bad thing at all. Randy p.s. Check your email.

I really liked that opening hook and the way you kept it thru-out this piece, Mark. Gave me a modern-day 'surf/rock' vibe. Tasty phrasing and tone, as to be expected from you. I like the way you blend all the various tones/parts together..nice what you did with the chords as well. Larry

Hey Mark, I'm certainly not qualified to comment on the guitar work, other than it's great! I understand from the comments you're experimenting with a new bass sound chain, and it sounds like it could come forward in the mix just a tad. Also, the drums seem to have a little too much of that "big room" sound, or reverb or something that doesn't seem to set right with the guitars. The guits seem to be right there in front of you and personal, but the drums seem to be in a big concert hall or something. All JMHO and coming from a "wet behind the ears" rookie! I always really appreciate your music, especially since I started trying my own hand at lead guitar.

Hey Paul, very long time. How ya doing? Thanks for the comments. Hey Duane. Good to see you. You're right about the drums. They are from another project and I'm too busy to ever do anything about them. I'll replace them when I get a chance. Thanks timidi. Appreciate the listen.

I love the sound of this, though the lead sounds a bit loud to me in comparison to the rest. I think the bass would be a bit more present if the lead was brought down just a bit. Very cool and interesting vibe to the song, nice work marcos! Dan

Hey your the guy that did golden sky. This tune is great. I like how the beginning works it's way into the main riff of the song. Also it's nice how the prominence of that riff gets to peek out here and there. Your tone and playing sound great. You've got a good mix of a modern lead tone but still retain a classic rock vibe. It's a nice balance.

Really like this tune. I aint listening on studio monitors right now so I can't comment much on the mix more than it translates well and sounds really good (listening on JBL Duet 200).
Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

Bass re-do is nice. I think it could even come up some more. Some great licks on this, but it didn't flow as well melodicly as most of your compositions. It was good, but I've always come to expect these real melody based themes, and this one seemed to be not quite as melodic. I've always been impressed with your solos that are not just a bunch of riffs thrown together, but rather very lyrical with a mesage to convey and they develop logically. You are the rock guitar machine! In the 60s and 70s, when chicks actually liked guitar players, you would have been setting on top of the world. Now days, chicks don't care about musicians, except they still like drummers for some reason. Must be a primal thing. Daryl

Listening to your axe, it made me again question my use of sim amps. Nothing like the real thing! The tones are just superb. My thought on the mix is that the drums are too mono, could use a bit of widening. Also, the bass is indistinct and muddy, when I think what is there should be gliding under all the riffage.

James, thanks for stopping by again. Legion, Thanks for the comments. Glad to hear it translates on your system. Thanks Ed. I'm almost there. I'm replacing the drums and will repost soon. Thanks Daryl. I'll have to disagree about the flow. The style is a bit different than my usual stuff and maybe that is what you're hearing. It's more of a '70's classic rock inspiration. Thanks James. I have to agree with you on amps versus sims. There are folks that get great results with sims, but I bet they'd get even better results with the real deal. Agree about the drums. They're getting replaced and I think that will help the bass some.

Awesome Mark! It may be my playback but the rhythm arp in the background needed to come out a tad and the lead needed to be pulled back a tad. IMHO. YOU SING! I can listen to you over and over and never get tired of it. The songs you do stay with me well after I've listened to them and I find myself humming the lead lines in my head. Very Cool!

Hey Bill, thanks for stopping by and having a listen. I think I've got the arp where I want it, but I'll check it again when my ears are clear. I definitely have the lead where I want it. Thanks for the input. Hi Karalie. Thanks for commenting. Alot of people think my songs need lyrics, but I do instrumentals and the guitar does my singing for me.
