That mic does indeed have a very nice sound to it, though I have too say pretty much everything I've heard you do is well recorded and mixed regardless of the mic's you're using.  Really enjoyed the fiddle playing, a really nice test tune. :)

Where did ya buy the Royer.    I have been trying out mic's for live stereo recording.
Just don't really know what to get.   royer's are alittle to much for me right now.

That's the best fiddle sound I have ever heard you achieve.  Your instrument sounds as big as Dallas.

I was recording some tracks yesterday and got an even better fiddle sound by turning my fiddle 90 degrees to the left. The low end came through much better. My fingers are still intact and this new fiddle IS as big as Texas!
