Wow, thanks for the kind words and wishes. Really, thanks a lot!
A lot of people in the area that know me or hear my songs on an area radio station and people that I know ask about getting my music, so I did this CD so those people could get it without having to wait for me to produce it. I was producing CDs, printed with printed jackets, all in my own house. When then numbers start getting higher than 50 per CD (I was cranking out 1 per year), it was overwhelmming. And ANYONE that would ask me for a CD, I would produce them one. So this really is a big savings in time. Hopefully it will cover my expenses. I feel good about the songs, but I wish I could mix like a lot of the people on this site. Some of the stuff I hear on this site is scary good!
The Enemy Planet is a tune I will problaby always play. It's just incredibly fun, not overly complex, simple rockabilly stuff, but it's a pure joy to play.
Thanks again for the kind words and wishes... I would be in far far worse shape than I am if not for all the guidance I have received from everyone one here... and heapin' helpin' of inspiration.
My daughter Emily (
www.EmilyCrowley.com) did the design work on the Website and the CD. I'm tickled the CD is just a really gorgeous thing. I'm proud of it and her (she signs like a bird and was the star singer all through her school years, but she decided to be an artist. Kids... what can you do?
