Dear friends.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. This indeed is a special place full of great helpful people.
As an audio nerd, I regularly visit several forums, but this is the only one that feels like a community.
I also really appreciate how you all guys have a very balanced outlook on things. It's easy to go to a "branded" forum and find a barrage of overly enthusiastic fanboys who pee themselves at the mention of their fav toys. Luckily it's not the case here.
Today I spent a long time with my new DAW and loved it even more. I learned Audiosnap's functions inside out and marvelled at the flexibility of it. I suppose Mr. Anderton is quite right when he talks about immediacy and fun. I am having a blast here!

Have a good one!

I pee myself over the glorious ideas in my head, Sonar is merely the tool I need to make them happen.

And I learnt much more of how to use it to start working on my ideas in just a few days than I ever did from a few years of studying music tech.

The tutorial videos are great for learning how to use the software, the ones by groove3 helped me a lot with getting started with the basics, and they were only £27. Add on Scott's book when its done, and you have superior value for teaching yourself how to produce music compared to any other DAW.

Heh hee. He said pee before his 10th post.

I like cut of his jib.

Wait, that did not come out right.

Jordan, enjoy your Sonar it's a great software. There so many great people with a wealth of knowledge! Coming from my own experience (2" Ampex, Studer, SSL, Neve etc) Analog tape & splice 30ips, tone calibration and so on, what a world of difference from those days.
