Ron, I thought the vocals were a little hot, maybe not. Don't like them to be too out front. Seem to not be part of the song if they're too loud (IMO). I tried to have dynamics in the song, maybe not enough, though.
Yup, I do the same thing: keep the vocals "back there in the mix" and my wife always complains that she wants to hear them more clearly. Then I read somewhere that singers almost always want their voices "back there in the mix" and end up with it too "tucked away." Maybe that applies here and maybe it doesn't. Just thought I'd pass it along. I still really like the song, either way.

Nice!! I like that flipped around guitar riff! You're vocals remind me of Gil Moore from Triumph. I thought the female vocals were really cool. The harmonica riff is cool but it needsto be more forceful with more vibrato. Overall I liked it a lot!!

I listed to this awhile ago and listening again I have to say I like the mix on this. Everything is sharp and clear to me.
I don't think the vox is too loud, I like being able to hear the lyrics clearly... I'm often alone in that opinion...

All is good but maybe could be better. Seems like it needs some fullness like some boost around 50hz or something to bring out the low bottom and kick. The song also could use a some spatial stereo widening effect if you have that. It works as is but I think it's worth some tweeking.
