I jumped on it today!! NEver used Nomad's stuff. But for $20? Can't be that bad!! Last time I did the $20 deal for a VST was AcmeBarGig's "Shred". Best $20 I have ever spent!

Thanks for the link Juan. How good/useful are these plugs? Any (good/bad) comparisons to what comes in X1?

@ Mesh - I have always gotten good results from Vintage Channel. I want to try the new Bus Comp that I got with the X1e bundle, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I got these because I have read some positive things here on the forum about Nomads' stuff. And I figured for $20 I could give it a try. I think that's their plan!! : )

Rimshot, These kinds of deals are typically sent to the supplier (Nomad in this case) and then Nomad sends you a link and auth codes/serial #. Sometimes they take a day of so. I'd say be patient. I've learned to just wait the cycle out. IOW I too have not got my DL link yet either.

I didn't get the d/l link yet either. But I did get an email saying that I would get it tomorrow. @Mesh: didn't see anything that said lite version or limited in any way. I got mine from Florida Music. I have dealt with them before. Should be full version. I am expecting it to be anyway!

So I can't just use a credit card?? That's what I read too, but I do have a Paypal account (not sure why they're limiting it to Paypal only). If you don't have one Glen, it's very simple to open an account (about the same process as registering a new software online).

bapu Just ordered them myself. Dang those marketing guys write text that scream "BUY ME!!!!!" Weren't you the guy who recently bought everything in the universe made by Waves? Don't you already have at least five VSTs that do the job that each plug-in in the no brainer offers does? Just curious. Not that I don't fully understand the impulse to buy any VST with a groovy vintage interface that costs in the neighborhood of seven bucks!

I do own nearly all the UAD plugs (except the few most recent plugs). I will buy the Waves universe when they hit 64bits though. That will set me back a pretty penny. Not $20 fer sure.

Sorry, faulty memory on my part ... it was all the plugs in the universe made by PSPAudioware, right? So same question as original. And for that matter, if you have nearly everything made by PSP and UAD, you're still in pursuit of everything made by Waves?

dmbaer if you have nearly everything made by PSP and UAD, you're still in pursuit of everything made by Waves? It's my goal to have most (if not all) plugs by major players for comparability with collaborators. Probably unreasonable as "major" changes all the time. Like I've not even gone near FabFilter, Sonnox and a few others. But Waves & Nomad is not unreasonable to my goal, IMO. Hard to decide/know where to draw the final line.

I install the VST's last night and quickly tested on the master bus of a song. WOW! I could not hear hardly any coloration and the increase in punch and volume was great. These tools are just what I needed.

i mean, 50 plugs for $2 each? Magnetic is worth $100 alone, and I use the Acoustic Studio plugs on every mix...even if most of the rest are occasional uses, this is probably the best deal i have ever seen!
