If you really want to be done buying new software....

Simply upgrade your computer to XP Pro 32 bits....  Since practically everything now days is 64 bits.... and requires Windows 8 as a minimum.... problem solved.

I am done buying plug-ins!

At least that is what I told my wife.

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

Imagine you're in 1950...you have just added a second telephone for the bedroom and you've acquired your first television. You're done!

You gotta start writing for TV!!  Another great one liner!

You haven't lived until you've taken the Rorschach.

You must be old enough to remember when having a phone in the bedroom was living the high-tech dream. Until you realized your parents could listen in on the other line.

Not necessarily true. The only thing I have that is 64bit only is Sample Tank 3. And I have a lot.

Sometimes I picture the CH guys sitting around a woodstove at the general store, leaning back with thumbs in suspenders, talking about how tough life used to be.

It's easy to gripe about new trends that don't sit well in our world-view, and forget about how crappy things were back in the day. Refrigerators had tiny freezer compartments and they weren't even internet-enabled. Cars didn't have wi-fi and USB ports and couldn't even talk. But at least they weren't made out of plastic - real, solid steel dashboards to absorb your face in a collision.

I remember there was a number combo that you could dial ending with your phone number that you could punch in and then hang up twice in a row quickly and your phone would ring. Used to mess with my parents with that one! lol
