I spent the morning:

cleaning a microphone grill that I've been "assigned" to use because when it was given to me it had about 20 shades of burnt red lipstick stuck in the grill and underlying foam from a previous "assignee"
cleaning the room of my teenager who suddently moved out (again)
including doing laundry from said room

I spent the afternoon with my wife
we saw X-Men First Class, did some shopping at Lowes for remodel stuff and had dinner at Don Pablos'

it was a productive morning and a pleasant afternoon.
