Indeed. Anyone who thinks trying to keep a peer support forum reasonably calm and on-topic is censorship is a raving idiot with no sense of perspective or of how privileged and censorship-free their life is. There's no freedom of speech question here at all. You can go and say whatever the hell you want all over the internet, nobody's being gagged.

rsp@odyssey.net A little history lesson for those that weren't here or those that forgot. Years ago, original CH turned into a toxic pool of political and religious threads that turned people against either because of the views different people hold on those subjects. Warnings were issued and ignored, and the CH was eliminated from the board. Some of the members opened thier own forum, where those subjects could be discussed. In time, that forum folded due to the increased toxicity members had towards each other in the discussion of those topics. I know, because I was a member. That forum split into 2 forums. One without those topics, and one with. The one with those topics recently folded. The other remains. Anyone can stomp around flailing thier arms and crying injustice, censorship, etc. because they can't talk about what they want to talk about here. There is a reason it's like that. If you can't figure out what that is after reading this post, then there probably isn't any reasoning with you at all. Randy Ha - sounds like a microcosm of the real world Randy.

Rules are meant to be broken, I break them all the time and I get away with nine times out of ten, I was in court yesterday for drinking on the street and having an open bottle of liquor. I was going to pay no fine and I was doing no harm, so why should I have to go to court to get this matter dealt with. It was a silly rule and I break it because it's a silly rule. The charge was dissmissed!!! I WIN 10 to Nothing!!! Seriously, this is what you find important in life … public drunkenness and wasting tax payer dollars in the court system. You sound like an 8 year old with a drinking problem.

Seriously, this is what you find important in life … public drunkenness and wasting tax payer dollars in the court system. You sound like an 8 year old with a drinking problem. garbage, I was not drunk I was having a quiet libation, one quiet libation as any good Roman would as he was walking down the street with his shopping, that is why the judge threw it out of court. I was doing nothing wrong. It looks like I have polarized the wowsers again. Now for a final controversial coment and I am not trying to upset Cake but a few have mentioned that this is Cakes forum, well yes but we own the software or the license of the software, so by proxy we own the forum!!! Now that is controversial, as I say I am not trying to upset Cake, I am only speculating and putting forth an idea of liberty through ownership!!! Neb

Does what Cake wants apply to me now that I've removed Sonar from my system and purchased Studio One 2.0?

TurnCoat But seriously how much midi work do you do Bub?, if you don't do much midi work, I can see how Studio One Two (stupid name by the way) might suit you better. See once again people arn't getting the horses for courses issue. But in answer to your question, then no by proxy you are not an owner of this forum, nor is The Pontiff . Neb

I'm surprized Criag anderton hasn't chimed in on this thread, I guess he hasn't visited the Coffee House lately. He moderates the only music political forum that I know at Harmony Central. It's full of hate and vitriol and there is no way that it should or would be allowed here because we would all end up hating each other for no important reason that I can see. Got to hand to Craig, he put's up with some real obnoxious BS.
