This is a nice one Robbie (and Mark)! Really nice mix and I like the way you start narrow and bring the rest of the instruments in wide. Great solo as well. Well done mix and song all around!

Regards,
Dan

Thanks Dan, Mark is pretty good at the mixing as well as being a musician. He is heaven sent for me to collaborate with.

Cool tune...  very authentic sounding.   +1 to the dobro - always add a little something special.   And the vocals are spot-on good.   Good job all around.

Little Stevie Wonder, thanks! It was as authentic as I can make one of my originals sound ;-) And I do agree that I sang the **** out of it  "to me?" It has a Ronnie Millsap vibe? I didn't set out for that, but that's what it feels like to me.

However, "and again?" Mr. Markno999 did the mix, and contributed in other ways. It simply would not sound as it does without his genius... There are a few folks here I "really" look up to, Mr. Tanton (Not around much anymore) Mr. James YoYo, Mr. Timaaaaaaay, and a few others (I won't mention the BAPU, because he know's it's implied) Some people here can make music really "come alive!" Mr. Markno999 is one of those people IMO, and I am "truly blessed" to have the opportunity to collaborate with him, as well as others mentioned above. (the haters will still hate, but I'm not actually a bad guy? pretty nice when you get to know me)

Really good job guys.  The melody and lyrics are right on.  Good arrangement and recording too.  Robbie you sound great.  Overall, there is more clarity in your Van Halen redo than this mix.  It doesn't bother me but there seems to be more super top end on the other just to let you know.  I listen on Equator D5's and ATH M50's.  None of this matters though because you both did an awesome job and a great song.

It all matters man? It all matters... Thank you. Mark is mixing on it, and I kicked him in the nards just a few hours ago and said the current mix was better than his current offering  (current mix being what's up here...) I actually told him, I don't think he can make it better? Maybe so? I don't think so...

I have no idea what this means? I simply copied it from a BAPU post? So I'm assuming it has significance?

I can't remember this one Robby but it sho 'nuff sounds good to me.  Good lyrics and I like that dobro.  Your vocals are sounding great.  Nice one Robby and Mark.

Nice song and great mix Robby. Nothing I could add would make this sound any better. Good vocals too.
