does anyone think that tiny little sliver strip helps ?
its so close / laying on top of the WAI strip, I cant tell what is what.
it doesn't, the only thing I use it for is to color my wave forms, as that changes wave form color.

please, bring back color strips in tungsten.

Totally agree. I have had to turn WAI off because it totally confuses the eye now.

Colored strips is the one thing that I really miss in the Tungsten skin, so add me to the +1 column.

I would like to add to that, having the option to add an ICON to the bottom of the track in the console view would be nice. As for colors on the tracks, I wish there were more choices from the start. Every time I try and COLOR a track I always ending up having to use CUSTOM settings and they are always so similar I find the color feature useless in the end because of the similarities, but then again I guess that all depends on what you are doing.

Dell XPS 8700, 16GB's Ram, Sonar Platinum.

It is available, check the Modules menu settings in the Console view.

Ive already commented on this - but - I have to say that the tungsten thing does look awesome - but I switched back to the old view - as when I get up to 80 or so tracks for a project - I am completly lost in tungsten without the colored strips

Be the first one who thinks that you can

I like this idea.

It would be nice if you could "fade in" the amount of colourization.  That way everyone could be happy...

I voted yes and would like to see colored strips added to themes other than the original Mercury, but note that the above can be done now with the stock Mercury theme. You can alter lightness and saturation, not just color. I presume if strip colorization was added to the theme editor, it would retain that ability.
