Well, this is what I see on my laptop at 1600 X 900, this is the "normal" project template:

I don't know what Cakewalk can do about it but I really feel something should be addressed. The only way to see the entire PC is to undock it and then you have to enlarge the window manually. To do this for every track would definitely be a hindrance. I hope they do something about this for those who have low resolution monitors. Otherwise they should update the "Minimum" specs on their "system requirements". My laptop clearly surpasses the minimum 1280 X 800, yet this is the result...

In other words... you can not simply scroll to see the rest of the ___Channel.

You may be able to collapse your control bar and see it all... maybe.

You need 725 pixels to see the whole ___Channel.

Actually the GUI is the best thing I've ever seen (personal opinion). If they have to iron out a few things here and there to perfect it that is understandable. I hope this will be addressed by X1c (if it comes?).

In their defense I've never known Cakewalk to be arrogant.  They may be a bit defensive since they've been beaten up a lot with this release. I wouldn't fault them for that.  Historically they have, on most issues, listened very carefully to their customers.

how about dismissive then?

Defensive is probably the right word.  We all can get a little defensive when we're under attack.  Keep in mind that along with these legitimate gripes they get a lot of bozos dissing them out of total ignorance.  The play the game pretty well all in all IMO.
