Problem with MIDI note (Solved)

I also posted the problem in sonar forum but -- you guys up here in the coffee house seem more intelligent and I know you all better -- but the same question is here > http://forum.cakewalk.com..I-NOTE-D2-m3448375.aspx

I have a full size 88 keystaion. In sonar x2 using the true paino plug in -- all 88 keys work on the keystation

in Soar Platinum - with the same keyboard - 87 keys work -- the ONE key that does not work is D2

any ideas on why this might be happening? It seemed to have  started when I was using ACT with an Alesis MIDI drum pad in sonar platinum  -- but even disabling ACT and clearing it - same thing - the one key D2 doesnt work in sonar Platinum but works fine in SonarX2

Thats the best I could explain the issue

any suggestions on a fix would be helpful

thanks -

Paul

Hmm...  Weird problem!  Any possibility of something preassigning that key in Platinum?

(Coffee house answer:  Take it along with R2 into the shop for an oil bath.)

Mooch the same thing happened with me and it was the the key itself that was bad. When using Sonar it didn't happen but when I used the keyboard it was dead. I cleaned the pot and it works but touch sensitivity doesn't. You should contact Sonar Support for help. I wish I could offer more. Good luck!

YES  someone up stairs in the sonar formed helped me -

I had a key binding assigned to the D2 note --

i had forgotten I  did that when I was setting up a pedal to start and stopped sonar for our drummer - and figured out ACT was the better way for that set up

anyway -- thank you guys for chiming in -- My piano students can now play a D2 note during lessons without me having to open up SonarX2

    Woot!
