A nice blend of styles, and the time you put into the production is evident. Reminds me of a Greg Garing album I have ("Alone") that I like.

"Reach..into your pocket",that got me. This has some wonderful sounds and has really captured the groove. Wasnt a huge fan of the intro synth and melody at 0:07, thought it sounded cheap or something. Production top notch too. How you make your beat, do you start with that in strict MIDI time? I like the way the snare answers each other (one different feel to it). Cian

Hey Timidi - Cool song with great production. It seems like you have a 'telephone' type EQ on the vocals, when the first chorus came around "reeeaachh" I kind of expected the EQ effect to disappear and return to a conventional EQ, putting the vox more 'out front'..for lack of better wording. Even with the same EQ effect throughout it was a cool song and production. Being a guitar player I might of boosted the end solo's by 1 or 2 db...but I understand why you kept it lowered. I am probably the reason people do not have their guitar players mix the songs so take what I say with a grain of salt. Also also liked the different snare sounds and all the synth effects tastefully added in. Nice job.

Thanks for the listens and comments guys. Techlo. I gave Greg a listen. Like it. nice stuff. Hey scotty. It wouldn't work as a ballad:) Robby. I guess I'm not a fan of the genre either unless I'm doin it:) Thanks for sufferin thru...... Liked yur video. Thanks Vechung. 'preciate it.. Hey Sven. I'm glad I could bring out the goodness in you.. Thanks Mr. wook..... Hey Cian, "cheap"?? That there is a cakewalk synth yur callin cheap..... kidding.. Actually the main "beat" was mostly one loop that I tweaked thru-out with other loops and eq riding. Thanks Mike. that's a good idea. never thunk it. I just trippled them instead. I did boost the guit 2db. you didn't notice? LOL. Yea, I'm not much into loud guit solos. Thanks guys....

What a terrific balance you get space-wise. What pan law do you use? Wish I could write such fine uncluttered tunes.

Thanks Rick. Not sure what is sexy, LOL, but OK... Hey james. I just use whatever the default is for pan law. I don't know what to tell you about the 'balance space wise. I don't do anything special I don't think. Thanks for the kind words. Thanks Gary. That's quite the compliment. Especially considering all the fine talent here, including yourself.

If I hadn't seen who it was from...I'd never have guessed it was you. Quite different. Kind of a funky groove... thumbs up. I like the various sounds you used.

Great sound, Tim. Took me by surprise, not the quality and sound, but the type of tune. Really nice production!

Whoa, Tim, this really knocked me out! What a cool tune. Took me totally by surprise. Fascinating work on the vocals and samples, which I thought worked just beautifully. Great track... I Loved it! BUT... what, no Lloyd Blankfein in the song image????

Hi Tim, or is it the artist formally known as ...... , funky and groovy and a guitar solo to boot, good job in a slightly unusual way. Greetings, Rik

Tim You got bigger 'Nads than I do. You have a synth in there that gives off the same sound as an unwanted click/buzz that a too hot track will produce. That always makes me shy away from those sounds. But it works here. Nicely done Ron

Thanks mgh. I've always liked Prince. Especially his groove and productions. Yea Herb. It's me:) Thanks for the kudos. Hey Frank. Thanks dude. Glad you liked it. Hey James. That's quite the combination. But, I think I get it:) Thanks Mr. Bapu. This was in Em. But most of the 5ths were lowered to Bb so it would get closer to..... THE note.... Thanks Warren. Glad you liked it. Hey Philz. Thanks man. Yea, Blankfein would be another. Could be he's the conductor. Who knows? Thanks Rik. Yea, gotta do somethin with all those weird loops and sounds. Thanks Ron. Ha.. Ok. Don't know what my nads have to do with anything?? You mean the buzzy synth? Just fillin up the holes:) Thanks.

This is excellent. Agree with the awesome panning comments. Edit: I wouldn't mind the lead guitar solo coming up a bit. Sounds too far away.
