Recording the metronome

Hi, I need to figure out a way to record the metronome so I can have the clicking along side my guitar tracks so my drummer can record his part at his house. I think you would do this someway with the midi metronome but I looked in the help and couldn't figure out how. Does someone know how I can make the sound of the metronome appear in the mix that I export? (without having to type in quarter notes on the drum synth manually)

You can tap out 4 quarter notes and groove clip and stretch it for 100000 billion measures

I have an .Acidized loop that simple goes "One,Two,Three,Four" with a guy speaking it. If interested, PM me your email addie, and I'll send it to you. I use it whenever recording along with the click because it brings a human feel back into the performance while tracking, not so sterile.

Thats what i do for a metronome. I Make a 1/4 or a 6/8 or any other time sig drum beat with kick hihat and snare and then i groove clip it and stretch it out. UIts way better than a click clcik clank click click clank sound. It give me better feel for reocridng also

Also check out Audacity's unused menu options - like Generate - Clicktrack. Veeeeery useful.

Hi, Smart Loops has put together a bunch of loops specifically for use as "click" tracks... Download them for free here... http://www.smartloops.com/Free/ These are the same loops I use to create click tracks for my Live Studio Drums sessions.
