Why don't you buy the rights to P5 from Cakewalk? They aren't going to do anything with it.




If I had:
- in-depth knowledge of the code
- all of the tools required to build/rebuild
- coding skills required
- an in-place marketing/store/distribution infrastructure
- money to invest

I would be happy to see Project 5 brought back as a plugin for Sonar. No new features needed. It was never intended to be a full DAW, but it is great for the simplicity of working with softsynths.  The original still works on my latest PC, and I'm happy that it does.
