I updated to 17.05 last night, and played around in a project. I noticed a problem only because I was searching for it. On the face of it, I'm not experiencing any serious mouse click issues. EXCEPT: I did notice that in Track view, if I click back and forth between Mute and Solo, AND the mouse position is on the top third of the button area, SONAR seems to not see the click until I move the mouse down to the lower 2/3 of the button. It doesn't happen every time. It happens maybe 1/3 of the time. Clicking back and forth usually gets it working again. This is not a show-stopper for me, by any means. But I wonder if it is the same underlying root cause, or perhaps it is something different? Anyway, that's my experience. You have to really look for this to see it, I can see how many folks might have this issue and just not notice it. (Windows 10 1607, 100% scaling)

Yep, same issue here. Hovering over a control ( mute, record, echo, etc) tool appears to be the resize tool. Will not execute any intended change. Workaround is clicking in the bottom portion of the button; then the mouse tool changes to allow selection.

Had to roll back. While the "aim low" mouse pointing method somewhat works, it's not possible to get any real work done. All is working as it should after rolling back. BTW, for those investigating this...some above mentioned that this issue was not consistent. I found the opposite on my system. Issue was present when interacting with any control in track view ( I'm never in console, so no info there). Behavior was consistent across many project files, so it wasn't file specific. Odd. Hope they get it figured out. I love what I saw in the new update...but dancing around that issue was not really an option.

Jim Lima- Here's some info that may or may not be helpful in your work on this issue. I was thinking a reinstall of W10 was in order anyways. Doing so now with this issue might be interesting. Reinistalled W10 via their recovery options ( all files/programs erased, start over) Installed RME Drivers Installed Command Center; then most recent SONAR (and all associated VSTS) Installed my own copy of AD2. Installed Waves Central (approx 6 of their plugs) Tested for issue. Still present despite the lean install at that stage. Rolled back to prior SONAR. Issue gone. Feel free to PM me if there's anything else about my setup or installed programs at this point that would be useful.

Another observation: this seems to be related to system specs, possibly graphic card installed as it happens on my main system (Radeon HD 5450) but not on the backup/test system (Intel HD 4000 graphics)

I hope the CW crew is still looking into this. Problem is, those with issue HAVE to roll back and can no longer be testing possible causes. It's not a minor annoyance...you literally can't get anything done. I work with clients looking over my shoulder, so I can't be *hoping* to land the mouse pointers in exactly the right pixel, hoping my aim is good enough to enable record or mute :) All we know so far from those who have chimed in: Radeon HD5450: Issue present for some, not all Intel HD4600: Issue present for one user (me) Intel HD4000: Issue not present for one user Not much to work with there, but I guess it's a start :)

I'm guessing this may have something to do with the enhanced touch support/pen support in 2017.05. I don't seem to have this problem on Windows 7 nor do I have a touch screen (though I do have a Wacom tablet with pen and touch options, I'm not using it with SONAR though it is connected/working). Do any of you with this problem have a touch screen (even a laptop touch pad)?
