    Very nice James.
If I had to be picky, the electric guitar could be dropped back in the mix just a hair. The playing is excellent and there's some really tasty riffs, it just dominates a bit too much for me.

This was pretty cool, I may dial back on some of the hand chime thingies, and some of the random percussion and bleed a drum track in early on. The guitars sound great.

Its funny as I scanned through to get to the comment thingy at the bottom, I noticed Daryl saying to move the guitar back. I on the other hand wanted it more forward and bigger. There are some rather odd distortions on the guitar that comes in on certain notes. It was still on the same lead track even when you doubled up on the guitars in the last third, but not the other guitar track. Not knowing how you recorded this, I do not know if it was introduced during the recording or the mixing. If it was intentional, then please ignore the above . Great song otherwise. Really great.

Freeform jazz/world music.  You got it all!  This is a very interesting tune.  At first I wasn't sure how it was going to go but the more I listened the more it all fit.  I think I'll listen again.

    Hi, James and Larry,

Another beautiful, smoothly flowing, rich sounding instrumental to add to the SMB repertoire!

I really love how the electric guitar melodies flow over the warm sounding acoustic guitars, and you always get a crystal clear mix even with the wide variety of textures and elements in your songs.

To me, listening to your music is always like taking a relaxing boat ride on a calm, winding river on a warm summer day.

    Great stuff, boys!

Once you've heard the first measure, pretty much you've heard the entire song. The overuse of the wind chimes got old rather quickly. The main lead tone sounded too much like a fake violin.

Hi Pete,  I was just wondering if it might be possible for you to show us some examples of your work, being either original, cover or even other artists you have worked with technial, so we can full appreciate your expertise in this subject.

Thanks Shad, funny how people hear it different ways eh? Yeah, that distortion happens 'cos I play with my right hand fingers rather than a plectrum and I get some odd overtones now and then. I kinda like it though. ;-)

as always great open mix. some super acoustic-ing Larry, i would have liked to have heard that a little more at times. loved the ending with the double-tracked lead and then finally the little solo run. you guys make it sound effortless, which is the hallmark of people doing exactly what they mean to and well...

    Hi James and Larry,

Beautiful and mysterious tune, guys. Larry's acoustic is gorgeous as always. James, love your playing and tone...especially those 'odd overtones'...

Great organic production and mix...well done.
