Sven, try my suggestion on the select tool option for envelopes I replied at your other thread.

Richard Fey has solved the issue (see my Boycott 'layers' thread)!! Turn off "Select Enevelopes along with clips" from the Select Tool dropdown, and you can delete layers in clips at your liberty without ruining your muting arrangement!

So does this solve all track layer/comping problems?

Or are there still things that aren't working?

And if it is solved could you be so kind Sven, to edit your
1st post to put the solution right at the top?
So anyone who clicks on the thread title instead of your
last post don't have to scroll through every message to
find it?

A I've said before I never use the track layers/comping
but I'm happy for you comping guys if this is fixed.
