The patch will update the TTSRes file on your computer plus make a backup of the original, thats all - you dont need to 'use it' Sonar will use it. It changes what you see in the screen shot - mainly faders and meters.

Thanks alree. I love your dark gray theme which I'm using now, with just a few tweaks.

Yes indeed. Big thanks, alree! I'm using them with a modified version of Lionsounds' Live 6 Scheme. I wanted a new look and feel, and now it feel like I'm working in a new program, but one I know very, very well. ;-) Cheers to you both.

ORIGINAL: alree You can download the colour scheme and UI hacks here - Sonar 7 http://www.bare-foot.org/diamond/sonar_7.zip Sonar 8 http://www.bare-foot.org/diamond/sonar_8.zip Hi alree! I tried this on Sonar 8.02 and it didn't work. It had worked on 8.0 (0r maybe 8.01 I don't remember) but with 8.02 I still have the same square sliders although it made a backup etc. Any ideas? TIA! P.S. This is a complete fresh install. Install 8.0 then 8.01 then 8.02. Then try patch.

I'm not getting the rounded faders or different meters. It all still looks the same to me. There are some screen shots in earlier posts showing what it looks like FWIW. Any way to tell if the file was really patched?

hey wormser, re: rounded faders, it should work ok on 8.02. The only thing is to make sure you download the right patch version ie: x64 or x32 (you can tell if it patched by the date of the dll file) hope that helps.

Ok I went back and downloaded the original one that you posted Buddy and it worked fine. Yes! Great job! The one that does NOT work is the one Alree posted on 12/23, or at least I don't see any difference except for the gray theme which DOES work. Thanks for the help!

Hey buddy 110: All your hard work on those nice faders has been undone with the 8.3 patch and your patching file doesn't update the new 8.3 version.

I tried with 8.3 and also didn´t work here. I suppose the dll was changed in this version. I hope you can make a change for turn your scheme compatible with 8.3 because I love the nice faders. Greetings and thank you.

If Buddy could make the faders a bit thicker this time that would be nice too :-). Can ya? Can ya? Please? I like the shape of his faders, it's just their size I'm not happy with. If only they were about the size of the original faders. :=)

Hey guys, Been super busy with work. I'll update the files over the weekend for sure. Jose7822, sure no problem! In the console view, are you using the normal wide strip size or the narrow ones?...just so I know which one needs widening.

Notice on Jon Con's screenshot (above) that the sliders do indeed look a bit thin when in narrow view. Take care! P.S. I think Red looks just fine :-)

ORIGINAL: alree Did this for a bit of fun, they work just fine though (wide strips only) Did this for a bit of fun, they work just fine though (wide strips only) _____________________________ What would be cool is if you could easily replace the faders with instrument icons- then you could see what instrument it is without taking up strip space on the screen. Nice touch!

Pardon me for asking a question that's probably been asked mryiad times in this very long thread BUT: I've got a personal color scheme I've been using for a good while (very easy on the eyes) that I'm planning on posting here...however...I'd like to use those cool "smooth, oval-shaped" fader knobs on a couple of the schemes I've seen here. How do I add those to my layout?
