I'd like to see one on using the Fit To Improvisation feature. I'm having a heckuva time getting any results with it.

Any chance on getting a video on sidechaining / Ducking?

Perhaps a little discussion on FREQUENCY-DEPENDENT Sidechaining?

You mention Rapture and Z3TA+ as full versions at one point in the vid, then go on to talk about the LE version of GTR3 right after that. You might want to address that before the vultures begin to swarm. Im pretty sure it was a booboo.

Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Core i7 920, Asus p6td deluxe, Sonar X1c PE, Motu 2408 mk3, Apogee Mini DAC, 3x UAD-1, Digimax FS, Motu Microlite, MCU, Tranzport, Nocturn. And more...

SONAR includes the full version of Z3TA+, but the Rapture statement was a mistake, SONAR 8 only includes Rapture LE.

Yes early on in the video I mention that it comes with Rapture LE, but later as I'm talking about Rapture & Z3TA+, I say "full versions", when I should have probably said "full version" (singular). Either way it was definitely a goof and thanks for catching it.

Are you talking about the EM/Mix video?

If so, they work fine for me in FF 3.01.

Oh and thanks

Yeah, something might be conflicting in my FF 3.0.1 -- might have an adblock plugin or such having issues if your browser is working.

EDIT: just tried it on my linux file server and worked. It's the browser on this box... sorry about the false alarm.

Nice teaser Brandon! and i think the hair is cool! you should be in london more; no-one would take a second look- fit in straight away.
Do you know what vids are gonna be out soon?

I want to see beatscape in action, and also

the implementation of the track instruments

plus info with sound examples of how to use the channell strip audio width stuff and

show and tell on the transient shaper; never used one of those ,and i'm starting to see how this is gonna really help me layer beats to produce fat sound with minimum of layers and tweaking.....

would that be possible?

AMD 64+, Windows XP SP2, Edirol FA66, Beringer Truth monitors, 2*Technics 1200's, Pioneer 909 dj mixer, Sonar 7, Stylus RMX, Guru, Dimension Pro, Rapture, P5v2.5, Trilogy, Battery 3, Atmosphere, Ableton live 5

Heheh - thanks! Actually I really do enjoy my time in London when I get to go. I even enjoy the rain (yup).

The only other vid I know that is currently available is the one jayson just mentioned that is up on Sonicstate right now. It is also a kind of teaser video, but it has some audio examples and goes a little deeper into playing Beatscape.

You have no idea the folders I had complied. Nowhere worth jack. This was a very helpful manuver. I DO THANK YOU. Anyone that complains of quality of YOUTUBE stuff forgets that it's free and you can turn it off. Nothing is more irritating than listening to "ums and ahhhs" but the info still helps. Good compilation effort. ROCK ON or we'll kill ya!

Cakewalk,

What about some different types of videos that will show folks how to use you product in the performing of their daily functions. I believe that if you show these types of videos, people will know that performing every day recording task will make their recording experience easy with Sonar.

I have posted here with the question on how to set up Sonar so that I can have the vocalist listen to themselves with reverb added, but not recorded. I got so many different answers that didn’t' work. So, I would like Cakewalk to present a video on the setup of vocal monitoring, if possible. It should focus on how to assign tracks to busses for monitoring. How to place sends to multiple I/O for listening or using a headphone amp in the process, and also how t add an external and headphone amp. These are the types of videos that are needed so we know how to use your product effectively in our studios. There have been hundreds of post on this with varied answers, and folks still don’t have a complete answer.

Thanks.

James.

+1 on this one - The whole business of stems, busses, submixes etc is still puzzling me, and this is only due to a lack of raw info, which I can usually process and with trial and error generally figure out for myself. I will of course come to the forum with my questions, but any video tutorials in this area would be a huge help

Peace Love and Understanding

Garry Kiosk

EDIT: Completely forgot to say thanks Bakers for the great stuff that IS up there on the Cakewalk YouTube channel, it has been a great help to me in my first 6 months of setting up my project studio with Sonar
