I just reinstalled it and its still doing the same thing. It playsback recordings perfectly but when i record the disk load icon turns a slight red and i can hear it skipping and popping just a little. But this time the CPU meters arent jumping around. Im starting to think its my Computer :(

Surprised it's not been mentioned yet but have you run a dpc latency check. That way you'll see if something in the background such as a wireless device is causing issues.

Download one from HERE

The dpc checker won't make it work.

Just run it (the dpc checker) and it will indicate whether there are any underlying problems that will affect audio playback/record.

Ok my new computer has this type of sound-card: ALC888S-VD
My old computer had this type of soundcard: Intel High Definition (HD) Audio
Should i try and find a sound-card that's in the "Audio Hardware Guide" on the cakewalk website?
