SONAR X3 license questions

Hi - first post here :)
I have a few questions re SONAR X3 -
1) Whilst looking at the upgrade options I see that there are no options for SONAR X3 users. Does anyone know which option I would use if wanted to go on to a monthly subscription?
2) My studio is being remodelled just now and I will be buying a new PC to be at the centre of it. How do I transfer the licence between this computer and my future one when the time comes?
Also 3) I am a fully paid-up X3 user having also bought the MP3 encoder. I can't find my license information :-/ How do I go about verifying I'm legit? (I can see my license number in 'About SONAR' but is that all that's required?

Thanks for your help and sorry for the no doubt basic questions!

    Hi, and welcome to this forum. If you log into your account at cakewalk.com, you should have all your products there. If you do not find your products in your cakewalk account, I would contact support. They will get you sorted if you do not get it working by yourself
    SONAR is yours when you buy it, so when you get a new pc, you can install it there. As long as you are the only one using SONAR, you can install on more than one pc. I have SONAR on both my laptop and studio pc. Hope it helps.

    Regarding upgrading. It would depend on which version of SONAR X3 you have now, and what you feel is needed.
    Artist, Professional and Platinum are the new range of SONAR, compared to Home, Studio and Professional in X3.
    Edit: When registering your X3 at cakewalk.com, you should get an upgrade discount when purchasing the new SONAR. You will not have to pay full price, or at least I believe so. If I am wrong, someone will probably correct me

    X3 as in the virtual equivalent to Artist?  
     
    If so your upgrade path will be of the "any current sonar version" type.  
     
    2)  You can install it as long as you have your Serial # and Registration codes, there is no on line process to go through with X3.  Go to cakewalk.com enter your user name and password, go to my products, view products.  You should see this information there.
     
    3)  If you see your products in #2 you should be fine.

    1) If the version of SONAR X3 you have is list in https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products then the appropriate price will show when logged in and clicking the "Buy Now" button at the store. If you wish to stay with a comparable version of SONAR:
    X3 is now SONAR Artist
    X3 Studio is now SONAR Professions
    X3 Producer is now SONAR Platinum
    2) There is no special process to "transfer" a SONAR license just install SONAR.
    3) Cakewalk validates ownership based on what is listed in your account. If a product is missing from your account see  http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3148924

    Wow - thanks for all the quick and helpful replies! Much appreciated.
    As you all suggest, now that I'm logged in I can see my serial number and registration code which is great - I couldn't remember my old login details so had to set up a new account just now and was worried I wouldn't be recognised. Great that the system is more clever than I am!
    I'm probably most interested in SONAR Professional - which hopefully has the MP3 encoder included this time!

    PS - I can also see that I get a 50% discount on the SONAR Professional so that's great :) My studio is being remodelled at the moment (sad to see all my gear switched off :( ) but once it's all done, I'll be making the switch to the subscription model. SONAR is a great product and really works perfectly for my workflow.

    The MP3 license is a one time purchase. The feature should be unlocked in the new SONAR if the unlock program has already been run on the machine. On a new machine it will be necessary to run the unlock program after installing SONAR. If you experience problems unlocking the MP3 encoder contact CW tech support. There is no need to ever buy the license again.
