0.00002 cents: Sarah's Resolve is title perfect. Lyrics are sweet, rhyming, top-notch. To increase my love for this (and/or mainstream this) I'd refine, somewhat, the dominant element more: The Lead Vox and backing vocal(s): The lead still feels sketchy and awkward ... too dominant, upfront, and/or in-your-face. While acceptable, I'd possibly consider starting out much softer and incrementing the 'sudden' lead vox gradually. (Else weigh the acoustic guitars a bit heavier so I don't slam the volume down 3 dcbs during at the 1st verse) And/or the pad element (flanger-guitar, strings, or such) could fill the some dead-spaces at more places and/or compliment vocals. OTOH, my ears would hate vocal masking of this sensitive piece. So forgive my ineptness. 2:30 Backing is extremely sweet. 2:51 Guitar crying ... I might have more of that ... earlier, I don't know. "As your night turns into day" and the 'on' rhymes are cool majestic hooks.

Great performance and sound on all fronts, cept the l.vox being a bit too up front (before the layering, anyway). Sounds appropriate towards the end, but at the top.....Seems a bit hot. Totally loving the acoustic guit sound, and the 'lectric solo is shweet. Diggin' the tambourine accents, also. Well done, fellers.... Rob

Philip - Thank you for your most detailed critique. I don't sing very often and I'm not comfortable with my own voice. I have many shortfalls regarding this and maybe someday I'll be able to bring my vox up a few nothches by actually practicing singing. But, like all my good intentions... Janet - Glad you liked it!! John - Sarah is doing fine John!! Thanks fer listening!! Rob - We'll have to revisit the mix and check out the volume of the vox. We all appreciate sticking yer head in and giving this a listen along with the critique..We do pay attention! I've yet to hear James put out a bad guitar solo!

Larry, James and Randy Very nice to hear a voice(s) behind the SMB. Larry's got a cool voice despite having a American accent, blimey that must be tough fer you guys, everyone must think you are tourists wherever you go... Of course I must point out I'm only kidding here before I spark an international incident. Ya I'm getting that Ventura highway kinda vibe too from this which ain't a bad thing. I enjoyed, so have many others it seems by the chart showing. Well done.

very well done guys, this is a story told extremly well, vocals were spot on and the harmony backups were quite awesome, only disappointing part was that really nice electric guitar part only lasted from 2:47 to 3:11 that`s just too short I WANT MORE.

My goodness! What a terrific song! Exremely enjoyable and moving. You absolutely deserve to have a top song on Soundclick. Just in case you're still taking suggestions, I think the (enitre) mix could be beefed up a bit with a tape or saturation sim. Just a little. That's just my humble opinion. But yes, you've got a gem here! I'll listen to this one often.
