Don't you hate it when they quietly leave the room, and shoot you that look, just before the wave hits?

We had a cairn terrier some years ago - his 'look' was one of 'surprise' when he let one go!

He spent ages looking round for where the sound had come from - there was no doubt in my mind where that awful honk had come from.

I have three napping under my desk when I work. I think they take turns gassing me, just to see when I'll hit the wall and open the door to let in the fresh air.

No, pete, not you. PETA, you know, the people that protect the rights of lab rats and such.
Which brings to mind...what tests were you subjected to? Must have been terrible.

They're a waste of money - you just feel like a right tit wearing them

Mind you, the volume and tone controls are quite something.

It does no harm to look around for new gear CJ - in my opinion, it always pays to keep abreast of whats just come out.

A lot of us try to keep up with the latest technology - but there will always be the knockers.

Moveable panels to rearrange the maze when the rats figure it out. In this particular case study, however, it seems unnecessary, as the subject rat seems incapable of finding the target cheese if he was sitting on it.

I meant the gate in and out of the maze Bob - but your follow up line makes it all irrelevant

Funny enough, I watched it live - I do like your Superbowl you know.

We used to get regular Gridiron coverage over here but it's all on satellite now, more's the shame.

I love the tactics and the different 'teams' on the same side.

It's also a game that naturally stops on a regular basis.

For my money, I find Gridiron more comparable to cricket than our football or rugby - especially the tactics.

We need those breaks so we can go piss, grab another beer, some chips, and still not miss part of the game.

This is by far the most compelling, intelligent and well thought out argument for developing an ineterest in American Football I have ever had the privilege to read.

Yes but for you Poms it would be:

Go to the loo; grab a Guinness on your way back, and a bag of Pork skins, and still not a miss any part of the game.

And American Football is nothing like your Cricket. We don't play for five days and come to a draw. Nor do our teams run around in funny looking shorts. Maybe the equivalent of nickers. But not shorts. And we have sideline entertainment in the way of Cheerleaders that bounce up and down in the skimpy outfits.
