Shure PG57 vs SM57, worth trading up?

I've got a few Shure PG series microphones both PG57 & PG58. I'm wondering if anybody here has ever done a comparison of a PG57 vs a SM57 in particular and if so was there was a lot of difference, enough to justify trading up?

This is for a hobby studio setup. The mics are mostly used to record electric guitar, close mic'd and generally high gain, rarely "clean." I've had decent results with the PG57 I think, so it is an ok microphone to my geriatric ears.

I recorded some test clips awhile ago with the PG57 that are posted on soundclick so you can hear what how it sounds.

thanks in advance

SM57 has a lot more "high end detail/crispness" than the PG, i believe it can also handle higher SPLs. I would keep the PGs though, i am a firm believer that there are no bad microphones, just bad uses for them.
