Apparently it's referred to as "Exploding Head Syndrome." Trust me to have the most awesome sounding syndrome imaginable

it is not a syndrome, you have been selected as a target for a scanner in training.

...
One factor that could be at play is you're not getting enough sleep and have to wake up before your brain is ready to. Most people don't get enough sleep.
 ...

And I was thinking "quality" sleep, that is not interrupted by this or that ... which is something that we often do not take into consideration. For example, if your bladder wakes you up with a little sting/pain, it could easily come in the middle of a dream sequence and you will remember or be a part of that for a wee bit ... and sometimes (it can be done) we can not go "back" to it, and falling asleep is easy, but at the end of the sleep cycle, you did not "rest", although you were in bed.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Wow that sounds terrifying man! I too suffered with Exploding Head Syndrome but only for a few months several years ago. I must have averaged 20 mins sleep a night for a couple of months, it was AWFUL. Cleared itself up magically before any real testing could be done and *touch wood* has never reoccurred.
The human body is both amazingly designed, and terribly designed.

And sadly, most people are afraid to look at it and work with it. The medical practices for many of these things are still medieval, and many times just the maniacal idea of some person or other, and I am not sure I want to be a patient to Dr. Frankenstein! (... the dr has the name not the monster!!!...) And I have seen many of those monsters in many clinics and I have told off a few doctors because of it.

My thoughts on this differ, since I spend a lot ot time reading this kind of stuff and literature ... "the father and I are one" is an expression used to tell you that your inner and outer are the same person ... and we find ways to not want to realize what some of those words mean ... and separate these in such a way, that we really, for all intents and purposes, lose our sense of inner self.

There are medical reasons, granted ... but not all of it needs to have someone screw you up with drugs or unnecessary medical practices ... or the proverbial medieval ... here let's bleed you! Let's use the leeches, they are good for you!

That is just sadistic if you ask me!
