Jbow,

I have to agree with this...I have a friend who uses Reaper..
He openly admitted to me that he "pirates" all his software
and plugins because he doesn't want to pay for them...
including Waves Mercury....

Then goes right out and buys Guitars, and Amps, and Digital Mixing Consoles,
and blah blah blah...

I will NOT use a piece of software that I have not bought, paid for, and done
so honestly and with decency and respect for the vendor...

Honest people don't mind these things...they understand WHY.
It's difficult to accept that we live in a world of dishonest, untrustworthy, people...but do you REALLY think that Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zucherberg, etc...got all that money by being honest to you???  If you do then you are quite naive...

Going back to the original post on this topic, the Softube bundle really is a good thing to have. I use the various components on plenty of tracks and am always satisfied that I made the purchase. I get a lot of precision with the Softube features that I'm looking for.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

You know... I really don't get the angst regarding iloks but that's ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, these are GREAT plugins folks at a stunningly stupid low price.  You will never, ever... regret getting this package of plugs. They really are that good.

Well Larry... I don't give that any thought because all I can do is try to do things right myself. I have no control over what others do, say, or think. It just isn't my concern, I have a hard enough time trying to live my own life. I don't consider it naive... I simply don't consider it at all. If that makes any sense.

I yam what I yam...

PS.. I wish someone would lock this thread so I don't have to keep looking to see if the deal is back.

Sonar Platinum
Studiocat Pro 16G RAM (some bells and whistles)
HP Pavilion dm4 1165-dx (i5)-8G RAM
Octa-Capture
KRK Rokit-8s
MIDI keyboards...
Control Pad
mics.
I HATE THIS CMPUTER KEYBARD!
