Something thats bugging me.

Hi, i have a little irritation which i hope is easy to fix, when i press the key binding F to fit tracks to window, it always opens the track folders on every track, i can't see the point in opening folders ever.
Also when pressing H to hide tracks not in selection i get the track folder taking up half the screen as well.I seem to spend half my time minimizing track folders.

Cheers
Steve.

That's because the tracks are in the folders. That is what fit tracks to window does.

You are able to set the default size for tracks, if the track folder is too big for your liking
Right click the track and select set as default height and it will default to that height for now on

I know tracks are in folders, what i mean is i can access the tracks by clicking on the + symbol, but it changes the strip size of the folder itself when i press the H key to "hide clips not in selection" or the F key to "fit tracks to window".
    Hope this makes more sense.

I agree that tracks and folder sizing could use a little tweaking. Personally I hate that tracks can't be "rubber banded" so they default expand to the height of whatever widgets are present. And folders? yeah, I never use the folder view for editing, always go straight to the tracks.

minimize all your tracks-folders header, then right-click on each folders header & select lock-height

Actually, I find that you only need to minimise ONE track Folder, then select lock height.

Now, hitting 'F' will conform all track folders accordingly.
