Sonar X1 ProChannel EQ & AlphaTrack

Any idea if the ProChannel EQ can be properly controlled using the AlphaTrack control surface? I've just got an AlphaTrack and the EQ mode doesn't seem to do anything with the ProChannel EQ. I guess that this is because the AlphaTrack file needs updating for the new ProChannel but has anyone found a way round this or know of an update for this?

    The Alpahtrack is set up to control the Sonnitus EQ. Controlling the Prochannel will require a new file from Frontier unless someone can come up with something like the boys over in the Reaper forums have done to improve upon the pathetic default Reaper support.

    I've got it working with the MCU by editing the MackieControl.ini file.

    Is there something similar for the Alphatrack?

    Is there something similar for the Alphatrack?


    I don't see anything in the Alphatrack or CW/Shared surfaces directory.
    I know the guy who hacked the file over in the Reaper forums had to compile it so it doesn't look good.

    What did you do to the ini file.
    What is that file and where is it?

    Try using it in plug in mode instead of EQ...

    There's good news....... and there's bad news.

    Bad news first. The compressor and tube saturation sections you can't. Not even via plugin mode AFAICT. Even though the parameters are exposed to ACT, the MCU doesn't see them.

    Good news is that it is relatively easy to set up the EQ section so that it is all mapped to the EQ button and by default will also show in the plugin mode.

    See this post HERE for info on that.

    I have reported it as a bug/feature request, but another one wouldn't hurt.
