Yo Scotty

So we can assume you will be including the X2a changes?
Yo, J!

Yes, although, I won't be talking about Windows 8 and touch screens. SONAR works the same under Win 8 as it does in Win 7, with the exception of the enabled touch gestures, but I'm sure the SONAR help will cover those basics just fine. There's no need for me to use up pages talking about touch. Personally, I don't think hardware control surfaces are going anywhere any time soon.

Thanks!
Scott

Chappel

Thanks John, and Scott, for your kind words. I get my health care through the VA so it's good to know I'll always have that. I've been disabled for a few years now and am not much good for anything other than playing on my computer and watching TV so it's a real bummer that I can't take advantage of the situation. I've been working on a new song for months and it just doesn't seem like I'll ever finish it. Oh well, at least we're still breathing, right? Could be worse.
Hey Chappel... you're exactly right and that's a great attitude to have in any situation. Things can definitely always get worse. Hopefully, they won't... but in the meantime, just have some fun making music and don't worry about completing a ton of projects, etc. The fun is in the process of actually making the music.

I know it's completely independant of your will Scott, but it's a pity that in Amazon France (where I live), there is apparently no discount offer for the pre order period.

Anyway, thanks for your job, Scott ; I bought X1 power book, and really appreciated your personal advise and custom method which give us a practical and useful thread for the correct use of the numerous tools of Sonar.
Maybe, give us more examples of adjustment on plugs like reverb, delay, Pro channel modules (such as having your opinion on the best setting to beautify a voice in pop music) would be welcome, but I certainly demand too much!

Thanks as well for your free VS700 closer look I downloaded (and hoping an effective update will be released in order that X2 and Vs700 work well together !)

Hey Casado,

Yeah, each of the retailers have their own individual control on how they sell the book. You could try to contact Amazon.fr and ask them if they can provide more of a discount. Just tell them that both Amazon.com and Amazom.co.uk are selling the book at a much better price. Amazon.fr might change their price, but I don't know.

Thanks very much for wonderful comments and support! I appreciate it. There'll be a lot of good new info in the upcoming X2 Power! and I hope you enjoy it. And after that comes my first DVD tutorial, so stay tuned.

Yes, I'm looking forward to having an update for the V-Studio 700 too.

Thanks!
Scott
